EPSON SEES OVER 50% INCREASE IN PRINT MARKET SHARE BETWEEN 2015 TO 2019
Continuing its drive to shift the business market away from laser printers in favour of more sustainable business inkjet printing, Epson achieved a 56% market share increase between 2015 and 2019, according to IDC data.
This growth positions Epson with 29% total market share across western Europe according to IDC Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker – Final Historical 2019 Q2. This success is attributed to the increasing commitment to sustainability seen across western Europe, as organisations make moves to reduce their environmental impact.
HUAWEI RENEWS EUROPEAN INVESTMENT COMMITMENT
Huawei's Director of the Board and President of the Institute of Strategic Research, William Xu, called upon European leaders to enhance the region's leadership in innovation through four initiatives.
Speaking at Huawei's European Innovation Day 2019 held in Paris, he called for a focus on basic research; deployment of the latest ICT technologies to keep the region ahead of its competitors and enhance its competitiveness; focus on digital inclusion and sustainable development; and developing an inclusive innovation ecosystem.
